Okay a couple of weeks ago i had never heard of RAS G but after i hearing his mix for Mochilla i was very intrigued and had to know more. He's a Cali beat maker who's down with the new "Beat Tape" genre. Think Gas Lamp Killer, Kutmah and Flyin Lotus. Dirty Snyths, crusty drums and lo fi samples. RAS channels Sun Ra, Jah and The Bronx circa 1979. Puts it lnto a sampler and creates wonderful sonic sound scapes. Ghetto Sci Fi is the name of his album and you can grab it from his myspace page.
